Contribution Will Support Local Education for Students in Need of Financial Aid

(Queens, NY) - Resorts World Casino New York City (RWCNYC) awarded $10,000 to York College this month to support local education for students in need of financial aid in the borough of Queens.

“York College is an invaluable Queens institution enabling our youth to grow into the leaders of tomorrow,” said RWCNYC’s Director of PR and Community Development Michelle Stoddart. “Resorts World is thrilled to support York College in its efforts to provide education to underserved students in Queens.”

This month, Resorts World sponsored several other community events in Queens, including the the Queens Economic Development Corporation’s Taste fundraiser at the New York Hall of Science, the Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corporation’s Annual Gala, the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning’s Paint and Sip fundraiser, the 19th Annual MediSys Classic to benefit Flushing Hospital & Jamaica Hospital Medical Centers, and the Queens Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo & Breakfast at Citi Field, where over 200 businesses from Queens were represented.
