The Director of PR & Community Development for Resorts World, Michelle Stoddart, also received the Walmart Community Playmaker award for the positive impact she has made in the community.

Resorts World also has an ongoing social media contest, enabling fans to enter for a chance to win a 7-day Caribbean cruise by using #RWCLIBSPRIDECONTEST with a photo showing off their Liberty pride. The cruise will be aboard Crystal Cruise Lines, operated by Genting Hong Kong Limited. The sweepstakes opened during Pride Month in June, and runs through the end of the 2017 WNBA regular season on Sept. 3rd.

For the second year in a row, the NOH8 Campaign staged a photoshoot in Chase Square prior to tipoff that evening. The Liberty also had a float for the first time in its 21-year history in the LGBT Pride March in Manhattan on June 25th, and Resorts World staff joined the NY Liberty on the float at the parade.
