In honor of Father’s Day, Resorts World Casino New York City (RWCNYC) is announcing a new exhibit at the Red Wall Gallery to feature photography on the topic of fatherhood by the Southeast Queens Camera Club. The exhibit “An Ode to Dad” will be on display from June 2-29. A private reception for the artists will be held on June 7, from 6-8 p.m. at RWCNYC’s Bar 360.

“We are privileged to have this unique opportunity to express our pride and honor for the man in each of our lives we call Dad, especially this month being Father’s Day month. We hope everyone enjoys our Ode to Dad exhibit,” said Southeast Queens Camera Club President Ronald Moore.

The Southeast Queens Camera Club (SEQCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 by community members who had a desire to share their knowledge and distinctive love for the art of photography, and to meet with individuals sharing similar goals.

During the year, SEQCC offers extensive educational programs and activities, as well as lectures by distinguished photographers designed to engage photographers of all skill levels. SEQCC also participates at an annual art exhibition sponsored by the Southern Queens Park Association. Now in its 12th season, SEQCC is exploring new means of partnering with neighboring organizations, exposing members to even more innovative opportunities to display their work.

The Red Wall Gallery regularly features local artists and exhibits celebrating the Queens community. Most recently, the gallery featured photography depicting nature scenes at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge.

The Red Wall Gallery is located on the Times Square and Fifth Avenue level at Resorts World Casino New York City, 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., Jamaica, New York 11420.
