Our goal is a transformative expansion built through real procurement opportunities that empower and uplift local businesses through supplier diversity and hands-on programs.
MINORITY- & WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES
We contract in a way that reflects the community.
We set aggressive targets for Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation across both operations and construction, and we hold ourselves accountable to exceeding them. Our MWBE Master Plan ensures that the economic opportunity generated by Resorts World flows directly to the businesses and entrepreneurs who make Queens what it is.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses
WE ARE PROUD TO PARTNER WITH THOSE WHO SERVED
Resorts World is committed to meaningful participation by Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses in both our operational procurement and construction contracting. Our annual SDVOB Plan sets clear targets and ensures that veterans and their businesses have a seat at the table not as an afterthought, but as a priority.

Local Business Development
PROGRAMS FOR LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS TO TAKE THEIR BUSINESS TO THE NEXT LEVEL
We're also investing in the next generation. The Southeast Queens Business Incubator (SEQBI) is a growth program – managed by the Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation (RDRC) – for local businesses to enhance their capacity and competitiveness. The free, eight-week program provides procurement-focused training, mentorship, and support.
“Economic empowerment is the foundation of a thriving community. Local entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of our community, and programs like SEQBI help ensure that economic development is lifting up our businesses, rather than driving them out. Efforts like this allow Queens to shape its own future by ensuring local businesses can compete for and win transformative contracts. I’m proud to champion this successful initiative and look forward to its continued work to support an active and diverse local business ecosystem.”
