Resorts World Casino New York City & the American Red Cross Host Blood Drive

  • Home

(Queens, NY) –  Resorts World Casino New York City will host a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross, this Thursday, April 19 from 12:30 to 5:30 PM. This blood drive is the first of the year in Resorts World’s six-year partnership with the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross supplies approximately 40% of the nation’s blood in addition to providing essential services to victims of disasters inducing shelter, food, water, and support. Volunteer donors are the only source of blood and platelets for those in need of transfusions and the Red Cross needs more than 13,000 blood donations per day for patients in need. Participating donors will receive a $10 Resorts World Casino New York City coupon valid in all retail and dining outlets.

With April being National Volunteer Month, the Red Cross is celebrating the contributions of its volunteers. In addition to the $10 coupon provided by Resorts World Casino New York City, the Red Cross is also offering all donors who donate between April 9th – May 13 the chance to win one of three $1,000 gift cards to Home Depot.

The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome. For press inquiries, please contact Dragana Bozic at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
