The American Red Cross supplies approximately 40% of the nation’s blood in addition to providing essential services to victims of disasters inducing shelter, food, water, and support. Volunteer donors are the only source of blood and platelets for those in need of transfusions and the Red Cross needs more than 13,000 blood donations per day for patients in need. All participating donors received a $10 Resorts World Casino New York City coupon valid at all retail and dining outlets.

This blood drive marked the first of the year in Resorts World’s six-year partnership with the American Red Cross.

The next blood drive scheduled at Resorts World is on September 13th from 12:30pm – 5:30pm.
