Program for Community Support

Our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts operate through the Resorts World Gives (RWG) program. RWG supports organizations, projects, and programs that create opportunities for economic and social progress. Contributions seek to support established, innovative and efficient non-profit organizations with clearly articulated goals that have proven to be successful at improving the neighborhoods of Queens and the larger New York City community.

To ensure that Resorts World Casino New York City has maximum positive impact, the program lends its support to organizations addressing a broad range of issues and needs. These include Workforce Development (especially early childhood education), Arts and Culture, Health & Wellness, and Responsible Gaming.

Education

The Casino’s business operations contribute 44 percent of revenue to the New York State education fund, totally $2,884,788,700 since opening. RWG also supports educational programing through organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA.

Arts and Culture

We offer several on property opportunities for local artists and arts organizations to gain exposure to our customers. The Casino is also supportive of community beautification projects and art and cultural organizations citywide.

Health and Wellness

We have partnered with local hospitals to promote health initiatives for our employees and guests. Our efforts include hosting and sponsoring health fairs, participating in health awareness walks, emergency ambulance services, blood drives and cancer screenings.

Responsible Gaming

We take the welfare of our guests seriously. We provide guests with appropriate resources to self-exclude and seek treatment for any potential problem. We want our players to enjoy their time, play responsibly but also to have appropriate tools available to help them if needed. Our Responsible Gaming Ambassadors are trained to identify the warning signs of excessive play and to guide our guests towards help.
