Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) and the Louis Armstrong House Museum are holding the grand opening of “Louis Armstrong Collage Artist” on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. The exhibit, featuring jazz musician Louis Armstrong’s collection of collage art on record covers, is currently on display at RWNYC’s Red Wall Art Gallery, which is celebrating reopening for the first time since it was closed more than two years ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Coming off his Grammy win earlier this year for Best Album Notes for “The Complete Louis Armstrong Columbia and RCA Victor Studio Sessions, 1946-1966,” Ricky Riccardi will be one of the keynote speakers at the event.
