Catskills, NY and Queens, NY – Resorts World New York (RWNY) announced today its support of two non-profit organizations committed to ensuring students across the state have the necessary supplies as they head into the school year.

Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) donated $25,000 to RIVER FUND for its annual Child Poverty Awareness Day, a back-to-school program where backpacks and school supplies are distributed to more than 2,500 children. RWNYC chose to increase its donation from last year so more supplies could be purchased, allowing more local residents to take part in the program. Several employees assisted with distributing the backpacks.
