Business Traveler: Hyatt Regency JFK Airport opens at Resorts World New York

Hyatt has opened its newest property in New York’s Queens district, located minutes from JFK airport.

Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at Resorts World New York occupies eight storeys and features 400 rooms and suites, all of which feature “energising” design and “insightful” in-room technology. Resorts World New York City opened in 2011 and is the city’s only casino, operated by the Genting Group.

The hotel comprises 366 guestrooms, many of which provide floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Manhattan skyline or planes taking off and landing at JFK International airport. The 34 suites, meanwhile, have kitchenettes and separate living spaces.

Dining facilities include café and confectionary shop Sugar Factory, a grab-and-go market offering “fast-casual dining” and prepackaged items, and the Regency Club where guests benefit from daily continental breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres and light snacks.

The property also comprises a fitness centre, while the adjacent Resorts World Casino has over 6,500 slots and electronic table games. Meanwhile, the hotel has 650 sqm of indoor meeting space, and the grand lobby can also be used for the likes of art exhibitions, events and musical performances.

Hyatt operates over 200 Hyatt Regency properties in more than 30 countries.
