SENATOR ADDABBO, RESORTS WORLD NEW YORK CITY TO HOST COLLEGE JOB FAIR

Aims to Provide College Students with Valuable Insights into Careers in the Hospitality and Gaming Industry

Queens, NY (November 10, 2023) – Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) will host a college career day on Friday, November 17th in conjunction with Senator Joseph Addabbo Jr.’s Job Fair. The event aims to provide college students with valuable insights into careers in the hospitality and gaming industry.

“Resorts World New York City is honored to partner with Senator Addabbo for this year’s college career day,” said Michelle Stoddart, Senior Vice President of Community Development, Resorts World New York City. “Our people power our commitment to being a global leader in the hospitality and gaming industry, which is why professional development events like this are so important. I look forward to welcoming those in attendance and sharing my experience as a part of the Resorts World family.”

“The hospitality industry is an integral part of New York City as a top destination for domestic and international tourism,” said State Senator Joseph Addabbo, District 15. “Graduation is a time for celebration but can also bring about feelings of anxiety over entering the professional world. Job fairs like this serve as an excellent place to relieve student concerns and maintain excitement for their post-college careers.”

The college career day will be held at 2:00 p.m. eastern time at RWNYC in the Central Park Event Space, located at the old backstage area. Members of RWNYC’s management team will share their perspective in their own career journey as well as valuable advice on entering the hospitality and gaming industry. Students will have the opportunity to meet with RWNYC officials, share their resumes, inquire about open positions, and expand their network. Business attire is suggested and those wanting to attend are encouraged to RSVP at rsvp@rwnewyork.com with their full name, College name, email address and phone number.
