The exhibit, debuting Thanksgiving week, will highlight the service of the healthcare heroes at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center
QUEENS, NEW YORK – To thank and honor the local frontline medical workers who have worked tirelessly to treat patients affected by COVID-19, Resorts World Casino New York City will be hosting the “Thanks to Our Everyday Heroes” exhibition. The exhibition will feature photos of the frontline teams from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and Flushing Hospital Medical Center working during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will be featured at Resorts World Casino New York City in Jamaica, Queens for one week from Monday, November 23rd to Monday, November 30th.
The photos will be displayed in an extraordinary fashion by being projected onto Resorts World’s big screen and chandeliers, creating a larger-than-life viewing experience. Among the inspiring photos is a quote from the hospital teams, reading, “The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to our community, but Jamaica and Flushing Hospital’s healthcare heroes are determined to keep fighting on the frontlines. We will continue to work bravely and tirelessly to help Queens get through this difficult time. It has been our greatest honor to serve you.”
“The leadership at the MediSys Health Network, which includes Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Flushing Hospital Medical Center and The Trump Pavilion is extremely proud of all of our employees for their heroic efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Our front-line team acted tirelessly, bravely and with great sacrifice to treat critically ill patients at the epicenter of this global outbreak,” said Michael Hinck, Director of Public Affairs at Jamaica Hospital, “We are honored to provide a vital role in our community, and while we do not seek accolades for our service, we are extremely appreciative when we receive it. For this reason, we sincerely thank our friends at Resorts World Casino New York for not only publicly recognizing our efforts on their digital display center, but also for their many acts of generosity and support to our employees throughout this pandemic. We are truly grateful to have them as partners in the community.”
