Resorts World Casino New York City Sees More Than 2,500 People Turn Out for First Two Days of Early Voting

Early Voting Continues Through Sunday, November 1

(Queens, NY) – Resorts World Casino New York City (RWNYC), one of New York City’s 88 early polling sites, saw thousands of voters turn out for the first weekend early voting was allowed in the state in a presidential election.

1,236 people cast their ballot on Saturday and 1,273 voted on Sunday during the first two days of the nine-day early voting period, which is expected to see record voter turnout. During the June primary in New York City, an average of only 18 people per day voted early at RWNYC.

“Access to voting is a critical need for our community, especially during this pandemic, and we are proud to host an early voting site at Resorts World Casino New York City,” said Michelle Stoddart, Vice President of Community Development, Resorts World Casino New York City.
