Panel discussion to include several of the artists behind works in “Center Stage: The Power of Women Artists in New York and Philadelphia”
Resorts World New York City is holding an artist talk on Saturday, June 10 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. featuring several of the female artists behind the works included in “Center Stage: The Power of Women Artists in New York and Philadelphia.” The exhibition, curated by Danny Simmons, has been on display at Resorts World’s famed Red Wall Art Gallery over the last several months. Simmons, a Queens native and the founder and VP of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, will also be part of the panel discussion.
Lisa Wade, multimedia artist, curator, and current project manager of the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, will serve as moderator. Kate Fauvell, Wanda Payne, Lusmerlin Lantigua, and Shenna Vaughn will discuss their artistic visions as portrayed in their work.
